MTS, MegaFon vaccinate staff in offices, Tele2 helps partners

MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operators MTS and MegaFon have hosted COVID-19 vaccination points at their outlets and T2 RTK Holding, working as Tele2, helps partners to open such points, the company’s representatives told PRIME late on Wednesday.

“MTS is working to prevent COVID-19 and vaccinate the staff in view of the situation and requirements in each region separately. MTS offices opened vaccination points. We pay special attention to the employees of the stores because they communicate with clients and safety of the surrounding people depends on them,” an MTS spokesperson said.

MegaFon also opened vaccination points in its offices and organized meetings of the staff with doctors.

Tele2 said its stores work under the franchising models, but the company is holding a broad pro-vaccination campaign.

VimpelCom, working as Beeline, said 60% of its retail staff in the Moscow Region are vaccinated, and the operator plans to reach the set parameters in other regions where such requirements are introduced.
